We live out our core values for our animals every day. This includes team training, research, and innovations to enhance animal welfare, preparing for foreign animal diseases, practice responsible antibiotic use, and auditing to ensure animal welfare needs are being met.

The Pipestone Antibiotic Resistance Tracker (PART) has been launched to track antibiotic use in real-time and provides web-based tools for both the producer and veterinarian.

We execute both internal and third-party audits to ensure we are upholding the highest animal welfare standards.

The safety of our employees is taken very seriously. We have continual training throughout the year for all employees and work with a cross-departmental safety committee ensure that our operations run safely and smoothly for both the team and the animals we care for.

Pipestone offers training opportunities for all team members. We believe proper training plays a big role in making the workplace successful.

We are committed to caring for and supporting both our local and global communities. Distributing pork, supporting first responders, FFA chapters, and international charities are just a few of the ways we give back.

Taking care of our natural resources and environment is something farmers have done for generations. We take pride in continuing the tradition by not only measuring the use of natural resources, but finding ways to be more efficient and sustainable.

We measure and monitor use in farm and offices for electricity, propane, water, feed, and fuel. These resources are monitored on a monthly basis and appropriate follow up is made if usage falls outside of a normal threshold.
