Ethan Stas

Nutritionist

Ethan Stas grew up in Latrobe, Pennsylvania where his family operated a veterinary practice. He spent time showing pigs and lambs and tagging along on farm calls with his father and brother. His passion for swine led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree and Ph.D in Swine Nutrition from Kansas State University. Ethan joined Pipestone in 2025 and works as a Nutritionist focused on wean-to-finish pigs.

In his free time, you can find him pursuing hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and woodworking as well as experimenting with new meat smoking recipes.
