Carly Bates is a veterinary student at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, set to graduate in 2025. Raised on a small family farm in Muscatine, Iowa, she developed a strong foundation in agriculture and animal care. During her internship at Pipestone, Carly conducted award-winning research on the impact of pH levels on E. coli growth, earning the 2023 Morrison Swine Innovator Prize. She will join the Pipestone Veterinary Services team following graduation.
