As Covid-19 brought financial stress and uncertainty to many households, Pipestone launched into action for our farmers and communities. Pipestone’s MEAT the Need campaign ran May through September and brought pork contributions to food pantry agencies in the Midwest.

PIPESTONE is excited to announce their sponsorship of the new agriculture-themed exhibits on the new “Grow It!” floor at the Washington Pavilion Kirby Science Center in Sioux Falls, SD. “Grow It!” features 3,000 square feet of new agriculture-themed exhibits as part of the center’s third floor dedicated to the state of South Dakota.

Joe has a relentless drive and passion for his people, the animals, and to be the best. He takes complete ownership of his responsibilities as a leader and does not wait to be told what to do, but rather works to find solutions to problems.

Dan Hanson, research manager for Pipestone Applied Research, was recently recognized for his work ethic, leadership and commitment to animal care in his more than 11 years at Pipestone with the David Neuberger II Core Values Award.  The award was presented to Hanson at an employee meeting in May.

On May 23rd, 2017 all farm employees met for the semiannual meeting for the afternoon at four different locations to cover: production highlights, gilt productivity and animal welfare and biosecurity review. One of the highlights of the meeting Pipestone Management presents one individual with the Dave Neuberger II Award.

All farm employees met at four locations on May 10, 2016, with two sharing the role of presenting from their specific location.  Some of the presentations were specific to the barns for updated protocols and communication, while others were focused on the global and economic impact Pipestone Management has.

At the heart of the Pipestone Management lies the core values:  Integrity, Caring, Commitment, Growth and Teamwork.  The core values have been the foundation of the System since its beginning 25 years ago. “This individual has a great impact developing employees.

On September 3rd, 2014, family, friends, and co-workers of Erin McCoy, a member of the Pipestone Grow Finish team, gathered to celebrate her most recent accomplishment – although she didn’t know it yet.

Each year, the Pipestone Management recognizes an employee who has made a significant, innovative and sustainable impact on the Pipestone Management companies and its clients with the David Neuberger II Core Values Award.

The Iowa Pork Producers Association recognized its 2013 class of Master Pork Producers during the Iowa Pork Congress, the 12 hog farmers were selected by their peers for excellence in pork production.

Troy Woelber has been recognized as the David Neuberger II Core Values Award winner for 2013.
